Quite newly arrived back from the red-line protests at COP 21 and Lotte and I have both got colds. My back tells me the coach journey to London and then Paris was epic - the seats on National Express buses must have been a job lot from the Spanish Inquisition. And I'm quite a few blog posts behind on the advent calander... Anyway, it was a great trip in many ways: Capten Cyboli and Trwper Twp taking action with French and German Rebels Clowns (Twp got kettled by riot police but Cyboli escaped, Jason Bourne stylee!) , singing with the Rise-Up choir, sharing the experience of the red-lines protest on December 12th with some special academic activist mates... Throughout, we experienced wonderful care from Mary and Sheelagh who put us up in London, through the warm welcome from Rebel Clowns in our squat in Paris, to the amazing food that a network of anarchist kitchens made available all over Paris wherever anyone was taking action. The Climate Games Awards ceremony was brilliant. If you haven't already, do check out the winner of The Pissed Myself Cup. The snail turned up late at the Awards too! (brillinat) Here's a few photos: waiting for the Reclaim the Power coach at Elephant & Castle; Lotte hanging the red ribbons with messages from Aberystwyth Red-lines critical mass on the tree in the Climate Action Zone (ZAC), including 'Rex Loves Tigers'; Trwper Twp about to march on L'Arc De Triomphe; the guardian angels leading the red-lines march to the Eiffel Tower and the inflatable cobblestones that made the march so visually effective...
